Just because you feel like you aren’t enough sometimes does not mean Jesus can’t use you. He fed the multitude of people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish (Mark 6:34-44)…this passage of scripture shows how Jesus took what even His disciples thought wasn’t enough and turned it into abundance.
Often times we feel as though our past failures, current mistakes, our shame and guilt keep us unworthy of being used for the Kingdom Of God. This is just a lie the enemy uses to keep us trapped in our own condemnation. To keep us from moving forward and reaching our full God given potential. Trap after trap we often fall into because in our minds we believe the lies.
Stop the lies by clinging to the promises of God. We are all broken people in an imperfect world. Fight the battle daily if that is what is required. I know sometimes I have to as well. God knows this about us which is why He gave us His word.
Galatians 5:1 “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.”
“Only an internal transformation will truly change external behavior. Every battle begins in our minds, not with our behavior. We can behave a certain way and remain unchanged. If we want to change how we act, we must change how we think.” Shelia Walsh
Many, many authors both in and out of scriptures agree that changing our lives begins with the mind. Go to war! We are all WARRIORS!!
