ROOTED RENEGADE

I have never released a word from the Lord until today. Please understand I do not release it lightly. In light of the events in our world today, the Lord is calling us to Him. We are His chosen, His beloved, and it is time that we stop fighting and seeking false idols and bearing the mark of this world. I received this word and it convicted me to take an assessment of my own life. I hope that you feel called to do the same. The Lord calls us to repentance and conviction. Never shame and condemnation. Blessings to you all.

As I was sleeping the Word of the Lord came to me and said He was going to destroy the buildings this world has built up to Him just like in the days of the Old Testament, just like they built the tower of Babel trying to be up there with God, in a sense of trying to be above God, with God, and like God.  All the idols, the subtleties that the people try to do in making idols above God.  Our possessions, like vehicles, are idols, our possessions are idols, and how we need more stuff.  And how we need more and more and more.  God is saying NO you need less.

 In Scripture where Jesus told the man to give all is wealth to the poor because that was the only thing, he had to do to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, and the man walked away so distraught because his wealth was his idol, his wealth was what he held onto, his wealth was everything to him and he couldn’t do it.  That is what people do today, their wealth is everything to them.  If it meant giving up their wealth and following Jesus, they would hold onto their wealth.  The Lord is saying He is going to take that away.  He is going to show what it means to have other idols before Him, because you cannot take the place of God.  You yourself cannot take the place of God either.  The Lord also said that you have to stop playing God. You have to stop trying to be God, you cannot be God.

Back in the Old Testament where the Israelites would build idols out of metal and golden calves and then make decisions without seeking His counsel.  We will never take the place of Jehovah.  We will never take the place of the Great I Am.  The Lord is saying that we must stop.  He will show that He is the Great I Am to us.  

This is the Word of the Lord.
