When prophecy becomes your paycheck you are perverting the gospel of Jesus Christ!  Jesus didn’t charge for His ministry.  It was free.  He didn’t lure people with the promise of being able to see and hear in the spirit if they signed up for a class.  The true prophetic ministry is grossly perverted and being used as a means to advance the wealth of the prophet.  Instead of being used to advance the kingdom of heaven.  People are draining their bank accounts to pay for ‘prophetic ministry classes’ and finding themselves in debt over it.  You can put Christ’s name on anything but that does not make it His ministry and His will.  

Prophets were not given the office of a prophet to make it their means of income.  They were given the office of a prophet to usher in lamentations, warnings, woes, encouragements, and truth among God’s people.  Their ministry is hard. It comes with a great cost personally, spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.  There is not one true prophetic ministry in the Word of God that charged for it.  God blessed their sacrifice of giving of themselves to honor the mantle of God on their lives.  

Many of the prophetic ministries of today make it hard for people to know what is false and what is true.  They are contradictory to each other and to the Word of God.  They cause people to falter between two opinions.  They cause people to stumble and sin.  Many are so full of witchcraft and people are blinded to the realities of it. 

The true prophets do not try to make names for themselves.  The true prophets of God are not looking to be seen because of their office but to stay in a humble position before God. They give a word in season and are very careful not to add to that word. They eat the scrolls that are bitter to the stomach but sweet to the mouth.  They speak the truth even when it is controversial but they do so in fear of God. 

There is a reverential fear of God that is missing among many prophetic ministries.  People have made it a show instead of an honor.  They have twisted and perverted the truth instead of delivering the message whether they were beaten for it, chastised for it, or lost everything for it.  

Because the Word of God from God through a prophet is not to be played with.

Watch as God exposes the false prophets.  Watch as God raises up the true prophets.

This is not a season to falter in between.  This is a season of choice.

You must choose whom you will serve, whom you will follow, and what you believe.

P.s. You don’t have to sow a seed for a prophetic word.  If God wants to give you one, don’t think for a second He won’t do it.  He doesn’t need your money to speak to you!
