Giants are in the land…but now they are exposed!

40 Modus Operandi of Giants

There are giants in the lands we are meant to occupy and they all have M.O.’s (Modus Operandi) that they utilize against us. A deep dive into Scripture reveals what some of them are.

  1. They mock and ridicule you
  2. They challenge you
  3. They try to discourage you
  4. They try to stop the work
  5. They lie about you causing others to question your motives and integrity (false accusation)
  6. They try to bargain with you through manipulative tactics
  7. They gas light you and assault you mentally and emotionally
  8. They try to wear you down and exhaust you so you will quit on your own
  9. They discredit you in an attempt to ruin your reputation
  10. They go after your family so you’ll be focused elsewhere and not on the assignment God gave you
  11. They steal your joy and peace
  12. They try to steal your dreams and rest
  13. They invoke worry and anxiety to cause you to not trust in God
  14. They try to financially deplete you so you stop tithing
  15. They cause major delays and set up stumbling blocks
  16. They try to coerce you into compromising
  17. They cause you to be distracted so you can’t focus on the assignment(s)
  18. They dangle the proverbial fruit in front of you like satan did Eve
  19. They whicper ½ truths in. your ears
  20. They cause you tocmpare yourself to others which causes you to degrade yourself and them
  21. They trick you to being more focused on what you don’t have so you aren’t grateful for what you do
  22. They cause you to question if you can really trust God to come through
  23. They attack you with illnesses so you are too sick to put your hand to the plow
  24. They twist what God called you to, told you to do, etc. so that you get outside His will
  25. They abuse positions of power and authority to intimidate you
  26. They turn friend against friend, family member against family member
  27. They bread disunity and birth discord among God’s people
  28. They blindfold you with deception so you can’t see their tactics and schemes
  29. They make you weary in prayer by reminding you of everything that hasn’t been answered yet
  30. They cause to you to doubt the skills, abilities, and gifts that God has given you
  31. They remind you of your past/sins to trap you into a cylce of repentance for that which you have already been forgiven for so you don’t tap into the power of God’s forgiveness through Jesus’s work on the cross
  32. They trick you into rebellion so that you dance with withcraft (1 Samuel 15:23)
  33. They fiercely attack your mind so you partner with bad/negative throughts because this keeps you from focusing on God and His goodness
  34. They cause you to curse others through envy and jealousy
  35. They isolate you from the church so you aren’t under pastoral covering
  36. They isolate you from friends and family so you hide your struggles which keeps you in bondage
  37. They lie to you about any healing or deliverance you have had
  38. They send wolves in sheeps clothing to falsely prophesy to you
  39. They constantly remind you of your faults and limitations
  40. They keep you from coming into agreement with the blood of Jesus so you don’t partner with His finished works on the cross

When we recognize the works of darkness, we can defeat them through the blood of Jesus. The enemy wants you trapped in bondage because he knows that once you are free, you will go back and free others. He also can’t hide when your eyes are open to see him, his schemes, and his assailants. This is why we must be vigilant to guard our gates and pay attention to what we are taking in.

We are in a time and season where we must eat, digest, and chew on the Word of God. The tactics don’t change. They have been the same since the garden. But they can’t be defeated if we don’t know the Word of God.

Jesus was the prime example of this. We sing songs about being more like Him, but when the rubber meets the road, many tuck and run. We have to come out of the valley of decision that we are in with our feet firmly planted in the Kingdom of Heaven and not dangling between two kingdoms. We can’t dance with darkness and operate in light. That’s like eating off satan’s table then trying to feast at God’s.

It is my prayer that you are challenged today and in the days to come, to confront the giants that have been taunting you and take them down by the power of the Blood of Jesus.

Over the next 40 days we will be posting about each Modus Operandi so stay tuned!
