Oh there’s power, power, wonder working power in the Blood of the Lamb…

Oh there’s power, power, wonder working power in the precious Blood of the Lamb!

Do you know that hymn? Such a beautiful reminder that the Blood of Jesus still has power today. But many Christians don’t believe that or they don’t understand it.

Which is exactly what satan wants. He doesn’t want us to come into agreement with the Blood of Jesus because he understand the power of it – after all it crushed his head.

He has known since the garden that the Blood of the Lamb would cause great casualties to his cohort and disrupt his plans. That is why he has tried so hard to stop it from happening.

The garden when Adam and Eve sinned was the first attempt. Then Cain when he killed his his brother Abel. And from the flood to today he is still trying to take as many people as he can to spend their lives in eternal fire with him.

But he doesn’t have as much power as we give him credit for or as much as the Blood of Jesus.

From the very first drop of blood that Jesus shed in the Garden of Gethsemane to the Cross…it has sung of man’s redemption through sacrifice. 

Before the foundations of the world was set, the Blood of Jesus was powerful. It carries healing and restoration. It carries the power of martyrdom. It sings of truth that shakes nations. There is more power in one drop of Jesus’s blood than all of humanity could possibly fully understand the depth of.

And yet…we have a unique opportunity to tap into that power through our faith in Jesus and His finished works on the cross. 

The power of the Blood calls us to worship in spirit and truth.

The power of the Blood calls us to bow at the feet of Jesus.

The power of the Blood calls us to believe that healing is possible.

The power of the Blood beckons us to believe that miracles, signs, and wonders are still possible.

The power of the Blood binds up the wounds of the brokenhearted.

The power of the Blood raises the dead.

The power of the Blood causes the lame to walk and the blind to see.

The power of the Blood kills cancer and disease.

The power of the Blood restores broken homes.

The power of the Blood unhardens hearts.

The power of the Blood returns prodigals home.

The power of the Blood heals marriages.

The power of the Blood strengthens faith.

The power of the Blood removes the stain of sin.

The power of the Blood will not cease.

The list could keep going. But I hope we all catch the revelation of it and call it to rememberance every day.

Lord help us to tap into the power of the Blood that you shed for us. Strengthen our faith and remove unbelief! Reveal satan’s strategies against us to keep us from coming into agreement with the Blood of Jesus.
